Beagle rescue

Membership in the San Jacinto Beagle Club is open to anyone who loves beagles! Our members are breeders, handlers and owners. Some show their beagles in conformation events (what most people think of when they think of 'dog shows'), while others train their dogs to compete in agility and obedience events. Some of our members enter their dogs in field trials or tracking competitions. Still others are pet owners who simply love the breed.

Our members serve on various committees and are instrumental in planning and executing two specialty conformation shows every year. Additionally, the club periodically sponsors and presents field trials and tracking events. SJBC supports beagle rescue and other philanthropic causes and works to educate the public about our favorite 'merry little hound'.

There are two categories of membership:
  • Full: For those who are able to participate in the club meetings. Meetings are held bimonthly in the Houston area. See the Meetings page for meeting times and locations. Attendance at two meetings is required before membership becomes final. Dues are $20.00 per year.

  • Associate: For those unavailable for full participation. No attendance requirements. Dues are $10.00 per year.
You are invited to print, fill out and mail this Membership Application to the address below, or contact:
